Maison & Merchant

Turning Passion into Prosperity: The Maison & Merchant Story

DUBLIN, TX -- Maison & Merchant, an elegant boutique storefront located in Dublin, Texas, is Felicia’s latest venture, who has a deep passion for curated design. Felicia, originally from the Fort Worth area, had previously run a thriving antique business inside a local mall, where her strong design eye and sense for market trends consistently drew a loyal customer base. After moving to Dublin, Felicia launched Maison & Merchant, aiming to bring that same successful energy to her new storefront location, styled with a distinctive French flair.

After two months of operation, Felicia turned to the SBDC for guidance on increasing local awareness and driving foot traffic to their new store. Sales and visibility were lower than anticipated. The SBDC provided tailored support, helping explore operational and marketing strategies. By shifting to business-centric platforms and using scheduling tools to maintain a regular online presence, the couple began building stronger community engagement.

"I feel the SBDC is an invaluable tool made available to small businesses in the community. Our consultant began by helping us determine who our customer is and assisting us with social media challenges. From our first meeting we felt we had a knowledgeable guide at our disposal. We look forward to new strategy planning and fine tuning in 2026. Thank you SBDC!"

As a result, Maison & Merchant has seen a notable uptick in sales and growing momentum within the local market. The shop is quickly becoming a destination for boutique lovers in the area, with plans in place to further expand their brand presence. With continued support from the SBDC, Felicia is well-positioned to sustain and scale their success.
