Brock’s New Addition Showcases Bold Flavors and Small-Town Spirit – “The Spot”

BROCK, TX – In the heart of Brock, Texas lies a new fast food restaurant that has quickly become a favorite and a staple of the town. “The Spot”, run by John and Jace King, promises a variety of bold flavors, big portions, and fast service, offering a menu packed with American favorites like smash burgers, crispy chicken strips, wraps, wings, salads, and milkshakes. True to its name, the restaurant is very quickly becoming the spot in Brock for locals looking for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner with family and friends.

When John and Jace first came to the TSU SBDC, they had a strong vision for their restaurant but needed guidance on how to bring it to life. Our team worked closely with them to help organize their new business structure and provided assistance in drafting and finalizing their LLC Operating Agreement. With the foundational pieces in place, they were able to move forward with confidence and focus on what they do best.

The Spot is seen as more than just a restaurant. It reflects a strong sense of small-town pride. John and Jace have created a welcoming environment where customers feel at home.

Just one month after opening, John reports that the restaurant is already exceeding financial expectations and performing well above projections. Their fast start is a testament not only to the quality of their food and service but also to their preparation, hard work, and community-centered approach.
